AUTHOR

I work with people who have experienced, or are experiencing abuse, supporting them to gently heal what has been broken, make positive decisions about their lives and rebuild their self-belief.

I called this podcast Walk Your Talk: Healing From Abuse, because these were the two activities that supported me to move beyond the abusive marriage that I had been in for 17 years. Walking in nature and talking with friends was what got me through.

In the two years it took me to extract myself from my marriage and find my way back to being me, there were so many things that I know now, that would have helped me to get through the process with less stress and heartache.

In this podcast I will share my own story, talk to women in similar situations, and speak to people whose knowledge and professional experience can support anyone who is living in or previously lived in an abusive situation.
